I once had a nightmare boss called Sharan, so really could have used a Sharan Guillotine at the time! You’re right about surviving our parents in the 70s, the amount of freedom we had was astonishing, they had absolutely no idea where we were, who we were with or what we were up to most of the time, it was fantastic!
My dad did once slam the car boot on my head. I was 28 (19 actually which is probably worse)
