As an autistic person who likes to eat the same things all the time, having to "think of a different pudding" to have sounds very unpleasant. One must never have to think of a different pudding.
I’ve inadvertently put myself in the position of having to give up a significant hobby this month. On a whim I booked a couple of solo nights away at a luxury spa hotel for the first week of March. By chance the booking was made on 31st Jan. The trouble is, wherever one goes, there one is, and at present I’d be terrible company for myself! 😆 So, in order not to waste the cost of it I have to spend February being positive and kind to myself, which sucks 😂 Now, it’s no giving up soleros, I admit, (though going solo with soleros would certainly give a distinctive flavour to my ‘me’ time 😅), but one has to start with small challenges and build up to the Herculean (of course, you already have experience at that level, hence your ability to nolero). So far I’m doing well: I’ve sat down to meditate every day, including a full hour long session on Sunday; yesterday I succeeded in wrestling myself down in front of my laptop to work on my novel (weaselled out of it today, mind, but as I’ve said, I’m no nolero athlete); and I’m managing to apply a gentle, ‘mindfulness retreat’ style of thinking some of the time, in place of flailing around in an (un-stone cleared) mire. Just 24 days of will power to go … 😧🙃😄

Here’s to 21,000 more
I have no maths A levels but use this site https://www.timeanddate.com for various things which says
From and including: Friday, 21 July 1967 To, but not including Tuesday, 4 February 2025
Result: 21,018 days
It is 21,018 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date.
Or 57 years, 6 months, 14 days excluding the end date.
Or 690 months, 14 days excluding the end date.
not sure why we would be excluding the end date.
It’s 12th July, but still don’t think that figure is correct
As of 4 February, it's 8,107/21,027

By my reckoning, today is your 21,027th day alive, and today's blog entry should be 8,107.
bleep boop
DateTime startDate = new DateTime(1967, 7, 12);
var difference = DateTime.Now - startDate;
Console.WriteLine($"Number of full days between 12 July 1967 and today: {(int)difference.TotalDays:N0}");
